Bookings overview
What a booking is, the statuses it moves through, and the three ways bookings get created.
A booking is a reservation tied to a customer, a date or date range, and a service or vehicle. Every booking, no matter where it came from, lands in the same place so your whole team works from one shared view.
Where bookings come from
Bookings are created three ways, and they all flow into the same Bookings list and Calendar.
Booking statuses
Each booking has a status so you always know what needs action.
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | needs review | Created but not yet approved. Agent bookings start here unless you turn on auto-confirm. |
| Confirmed | active | Approved and on the calendar. Counts toward your revenue figures. |
| Completed | finished | The booking has happened. Also counts toward revenue. |
| Cancelled | closed | Called off. Does not count toward revenue. |
Auto-confirm decides Pending vs Confirmed
When auto-confirm is on, bookings the agent makes go straight to Confirmed. When it is off, they wait in Pending for your approval. You set this per workspace. See Configuring your agent.
What a booking holds
A booking record keeps the customer's details, the dates, the chosen vehicle or service, the price, and a link back to the call or conversation that created it. Opening a booking shows the full picture and links to the customer's record.
