Building and testing an automation

Create an automation, test it safely, and watch its run history.

Building an automation takes a few minutes. Test it before you switch it on, then watch its runs to make sure it does what you expect.

Build it

1

Choose a trigger

Pick the event that should start the automation, such as a booking being created.

2

Add actions

Add one or more actions, like sending a WhatsApp message or creating a task. Add conditions if it should only run sometimes.

3

Test before enabling

Run a test of the whole automation, or test a single step, to confirm it behaves correctly.

4

Enable it

Turn the automation on. You can disable it again at any time without deleting it.

Watch the run history

Every time an automation fires, MAZZA records the run and its result. Open an automation's run history to see what happened and to spot anything that needs a fix.

Test first, always

Testing a step lets you see exactly what an action would send before any real customer receives it.
