Feature modules
How optional features can be turned on or off per workspace in Settings > Features.
MAZZA comes with everything switched on. Feature modules let you turn off the parts you do not use, so your workspace shows only what matters to your business. You manage them in Settings > Features, and nothing is ever deleted when you switch a module off.
How it works
Every module starts enabled. You opt out, not in. When you switch a module off, MAZZA hides it from the sidebar and from the dashboard for everyone in your workspace. Switch it back on and it returns exactly as it was, with all your data intact.
Off means hidden, not deleted
Turning a module off only hides its pages and sidebar item. Your records, history, and settings stay safe in the background. Turn it back on whenever you want and everything is right where you left it.
What you cannot turn off
Five areas are the core of every MAZZA workspace and always stay on:
- Overview (your dashboard home)
- Calls
- Bookings
- Leads
- Clients
These run the day-to-day of your front desk, so they are not listed in Settings > Features and cannot be switched off.
The modules you can toggle
Each card in Settings > Features controls one module. Here is what every one adds to your workspace.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Deals & pipelinesYou control | Track opportunities through customizable pipeline stages, with forecasting on the Sales overview. |
| TasksYou control | Follow-ups with due dates, priorities, and assignees, linked to leads, clients, deals, and bookings. |
| MessagesYou control | Your two-way WhatsApp inbox, with tags, quick replies, and customer matching. |
| AutomationsYou control | Workflows triggered by calls, bookings, leads, and deal stage changes. |
| CollectionsYou control | Custom tables for anything your business tracks beyond the built-in records. |
| FleetYou control | Vehicle inventory, rates, and availability that the AI agent uses to quote and book. |
| ReportsYou control | Saved and scheduled reports delivered as PDF or CSV. |
| AnalyticsYou control | Deep-dive call analytics: peak hours, intents, and sentiment. |
| PromotionsYou control | Promo codes and offers the AI agent can mention on calls. |
Pick what fits your business
A salon may turn off Fleet, while a car rental company keeps it on. Switch off the modules you do not need so your team sees a cleaner, simpler sidebar.
Turning a module on or off
Open Settings > Features
Go to Settings, then Features. You will see a card for each module with a switch on the right.
Flip the switch
Switch a module off to hide it, or on to show it. The change saves on its own, no separate save button needed.
See it apply for everyone
The sidebar and dashboard update for your whole workspace. Anyone signed in will see the new layout.
Who can change features
Changing feature modules is an admin-level action. If the switches look greyed out for you, your role does not have permission to edit them. Ask an owner or admin, or see Roles and permissions.
A note on the AI agents
Some modules feed your AI agents. Fleet gives the agent your vehicles, rates, and live availability to quote and book. Promotions lets the agent mention current offers on calls. If you turn these off, the agent stops using them. To learn how your catalog shapes what the agents say, see How your catalog powers the agents.
Do I lose my data when I turn a module off?
No. Switching a module off only hides it. Your records and settings are kept and return exactly as they were when you switch it back on.
Does turning a module off affect my bill?
Feature modules control what you see in the workspace, not your plan. For what your plan includes, see Plans and what is included.
Can different team members see different modules?
No. A module is on or off for the whole workspace. What an individual can do inside a module is set by their role, not by Features.
